Hello 2017!

Last post is almost 5 years old. Still thinking about going back to blogging. After all, it only served as a personal diary. Am I still my old self? Probably - an ambivert, nevertheless still gaming. Huge things are coming my way this year. First and foremost, marriage. Some people may say it's long overdue, but I believe that the right time does come. Not from some intergalactic force or a higher one, but from two people agreeing that it's about time. Selective existentialism. Anyway, happy new year!

Rurouni Kenshin Live Action Movie

The much anticipated Rurouni Kenshin movie made its way to Philippines theaters on December 5, 2012. Thousands of fans have already been waiting for this to finally happen as the screening date constantly got pushed to later dates for months. And damn, it was worth the wait.

Being a Samurai X fan since high school, the movie was like a dream come true. Every detail of the movie feels like it was freshly grabbed right from the anime itself. No fan will be disappointed with the movie since you will not be expecting any mistakes that Hollywood usually makes with their own rendition of popular animes/games.

The actors were able to relive their characters the way we watched it in the series. Actor Takeru Sato was surely perfect for the role. From being the bloodthirsty Battousai the Slasher to the kind and sweet wanderer Kenshin Himura, he totally nailed it.

The DVD becomes available on December 26th. So if you haven't watched the movie yet (you can catch it on SM Cinemas til the 19th), be sure to watch it right away! Or, get the DVD at least. ;)

Finally Got My Pottermore Email

After several weeks of waiting, I finally got my third letter from Pottermore. The one stating that my account is finally ready and I can enter the site. Pottermore is set to open to all on October but there are a few who can enter it earlier during the beta phase.




I quickly logged in and explored the site. There are still a lot of changes to be done. I also took part in making a few suggestions, some already voiced out by other students.

Chapter to chapter I viewed all the stories and awesome artworks, when finally I got to the sorting hat. I was excited and nervous as to where the hat will put me. I have been believing I'm in Gryffindor for 10 years. So here I was, answering all the questions truthfully and the results came out. RAVENCLAW!
I was lost for words! Why oh why did I got sorted to Ravenclaw? The house where they say only the wittiest and brightest witches and wizards come from. Shocked, I continued anyway. If the sorting hat put me there, then I just let it be.

I explored further and began practicing on potions and spells. They weren't that easy haha. Anyways, Pottermore is a great site but I know it'll be greater when it opens in October. ;)

Pottermore Update

As the last Harry Potter film is nearing its release date, fans from around the world have been given something new to look forward to. When owls started appearing on the JKR Announces Youtube channel, people patiently awaited the day the video is released. Opinions were expressed among millions of fans as to what it might be. Some said that it can be an online game or another book. J.K. Rowling announced on June 23, 2011, her newest project called Pottermore.



She shares that it will a new and exciting way to enjoy online reading, community interaction and even discovering HP secrets she has kept throughout the years. There is nothing more that I can say about it since the announcement appears a little vague to me. But one thing's for sure, it will be something worth waiting for.

If you want to join Pottermore, you can submit your emails as early as today and come back on July 31, 2011 to know if you can be part of the group to experience it earlier than the rest. Official opening of the whole site is said to take place on October.

5th year of Love ♥

March 7, 2006. A date which seemed to be just yesterday; and now here I look back and realize that it was already five years ago. But the feeling never faded nor changed, it just grew stronger. For a hopeless romantic like me, I considered it extreme luck (or even fate) to have met my boyfriend, Ervin. Each of us has a different view on what a perfect lover is, but to me, he is everything I always wanted. :)

Scuba Diving

Among the many activities we've done over the weekend, this was probably the most frightful yet exciting one for me. :D That's me and Bibin ♥ scuba diving at Maxima Aqua Fun in Samal. This is the first time we've done this and we're kinda having second thoughts if we're gonna do it again. It was really scary at first but I got to adjust somehow. Not to mention that the blue color in the background led to a seemingly bottomless pit of doom! We can only see the blue shade and we couldn't see where it leads or how deep it was. Still, it was super duper FUN! I loved it! ♥

A Walk In The Park

Bibin and I had an unplanned excursion last Saturday with Brail and Cez to Crocodile Park and People's Park. It was perfect to go there since Bibin used their car. The shot above is at PPark and one of my favorite shots done by Cez.

Hello 2011!

2010 was a year full of assorted memories, from good to bad, lame to exciting. There's a lot to be thankful and sad for everything that has happened in the past year, including:

Not-so-good events:
- Zhu Xian Online closed down
- ingame wars turned personal
- Dobby died.. XD

Great events:
- celebrated our 4th anniversary ♥
- even though ZX closed, I realized that the friendship I made with Lotus stretched far outside the game
- had the coolest boss, sir Matt ;)
- discovered the realms of Heroes of Three Kingdoms and Battle of Immortals
- co-owned a PSP with bf ♥
- had a new netbook
- BF was introduced to my extended family as well - aunts, uncles, cousins - and they liked him! ♥

In a nutshell, I loved 2010! The bad things that happened are of little importance and impact in contrast to the good ones. Thanks for a great year Lord! God bless us all! :D

He smiled when he scanned at the points and I think he found himself guilty of some of the statements. I asked him and he said, "haha yeah."

Yep, it’s sad but true that when a guy is too eager to catch us we wonder why. What is wrong with this guy? Why is he so clingy? Is he a control freak? Is he a serial dater? A player with many girlfriends on the go? Is he insane? It’s not that we don’t want to be caught, we do, we just don’t want to feel trapped and when things happen too fast trapped is how we feel.

First, I was really happy to know that they made the film into two parts since I believe that one movie would not be enough to give justice to the book. Secondly, I was even happier when I watched the movie.

1. We like being “the boyfriend.”

ZX Online Lotus Clan Tribute

It was roughly 5pm on July 26, 2010 when e-Games announced the closing of ZX in 5days (which they eventually changed to a later date). The first thing that came to mind was my character. For a year and a half I have played her well and other characters which the owners completely trusted me into using them.
