5 Things Your Girlfriend Won't Tell You

This time, discover the 5 things your girlfriend won't tell you. In the previous post where I mentioned the five things your boyfriend won't tell you, I let him read it. He smiled when he scanned at the points and I think he found himself guilty of some of the statements. I asked him and he said, "haha yeah."

1. We like the chase – you chasing us.
Yep, it’s sad but true that when a guy is too eager to catch us we wonder why. What is wrong with this guy? Why is he so clingy? Is he a control freak? Is he a serial dater? A player with many girlfriends on the go? Is he insane? It’s not that we don’t want to be caught, we do, we just don’t want to feel trapped and when things happen too fast trapped is how we feel.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows PART 1

First, I was really happy to know that they made the film into two parts since I believe that one movie would not be enough to give justice to the book. Secondly, I was even happier when I watched the movie.

5 Things Your Boyfriend Won't Tell You

After a dozen times of seeing friends getting tagged in notes about love and relationships, I remember a post I read months ago about the 5 things your boyfriend won't tell you.

1. We like being “the boyfriend.”
Girls often think that guys are players-at-heart who love the single life and only settle down because society tells them that they have to, but nothing could be further from the truth. Sure there are some guys who get a serious case of the GIGS (Grass Is Greener Syndrome) every time they make a commitment to a girl but these guys are the exception not the rule. We other guys have a word to describe our flakey won’t settle down counterparts – immature. For the most part guys love being in love just as much as girls do.

This is my bf’s winning entry for the “Relive Your Adventures” forum contest under the Creative category. The texts in bold are the actual captions used for each screenshot. :)

One morning, I ran into the princess’ chambermaid. Fear and anxiety can be felt through her eyes as she hurriedly ran towards me. From her worried looks, I can tell there was something wrong.

ZX Online Lotus Clan Tribute

It was roughly 5pm on July 26, 2010 when e-Games announced the closing of ZX in 5days (which they eventually changed to a later date). The first thing that came to mind was my character. For a year and a half I have played her well and other characters which the owners completely trusted me into using them.

Calm Poison

Every morning when the sun touches the soft grounds of the earth, two friends set out on the green pastures outside Heyang City. Although the two girls have diverse characteristics, no one can deny that they are bonded like sisters. Both of them are apprentices of their schools harnessing the skills needed for survival. MuJitSu, a Heaven Sound temple disciple, focuses on the bright side of life – purity, healing and protection. Kaori, the admirable girl from the Ghost Witchery Sect practices the total opposite. She vows to use aggressive, brutal attacks to defend her side. When she becomes her full form –the demon stance, a lot less human like, fierce and glows red – she is undeniably stronger than when she is human.

Misa Amane

My own rendition of Misa Amane from my favorite anime Death Note. :)

Love for My Pet

This was my entry in my former game ZX Online for the “Show Your Love for Pets” forum contest. Among many contestants, I was fortunate to win the event. :D

Capture my heart, you did
I yearn for you not to let it go;
A thousand heartaches it had
They left it no place to grow.
Hold my hand oh dear,
Let me take your breath away;
As I lead you to this new start
Adventures on our feet they lay.
Relieve yourself of the past,
Forget what is gone;
Try and journey with me
Together we’ll see the rising sun.
A lasting friendship I’ll give,
Memories you and I will share;
Laugh at our jokes,
And overcome all burdens to bear.
With love in our hearts,
Acceptance in our minds;
Let us show this world
A friendship that forever binds.

Carnival Angst

It was the usual end of the year festival at Green Axes where everybody would go out of their houses to enjoy the day. I would be accompanied by my parents and siblings to the carnival. My aunt Eve wouldn’t be able to go this year because of some problems mom wouldn’t make mention in the house.

As practiced, I would be left alone in the carnival riding all I want as long as they would buy me unlimited tickets. "Don't go too far without your brother, Jean," mom said as usual. I found it very strange why my little brother wouldn’t accompany me at the carousel today. He told me he saw a nasty little boy who would taunt him. I didn’t pay attention to this until I saw the boy myself. I saw him sitting behind the operator’s table with a knife in his right hand and a rag doll on the other.

He cheerfully stabbed the doll a dozen times and stopped when he noticed me staring at him. He was about my age and I noticed my cheeks turned pink. He was handsome and was white as snow. He looked like he was born royalty. At my young age at ten, it was the first time I appreciated somebody, particularly a boy. I slowly moved closer to him when suddenly he ran away. The boys nearby laughed at me at this sight. I was confused why he ran, was it because I stared at him too much.. I found out later why.. I followed him through the dark passage of the carousel under and saw him sitting on the ground. I felt like I knew him for more than a year. I sat beside him and asked. “May I help you? You seem to be troubled by something..” For a few seconds he only sat there staring at his doll, then the next minute he looked at me with confusion on his face.

Then he began to open his mouth but no words would come out. This started to make me feel a little scared. His eyes rolled and his hand landed on my lap. It was so cold. While his head bowed, I tried to look him straight in the face and what I saw made my hair stand on end. He had no eyes and his mouth was beginning to draw blood. I couldn’t think of anything to do. My feet were stuck with horror. His grasp was getting tighter and tighter. I tried to scream but the laughter outside drowned my voice. I wished I could scream as loud as I can get but it was no help. I couldn’t contain my consciousness anymore and I saw everything turned pitch-black.

When I woke up, I was in the hospital lying down with my mother at my side. I asked her what happened and she had very teary eyes when she said’ “Your little brother found you lying beside the carousel unconscious. There was blood all over your dress but you weren’t injured. We also saw a little boy beside you. But it was a pitiful sight. He was stabbed many times and the doll he was holding was said to be a prize he won over at the carnival. He was killed by your uncle, Eve’s husband Eric, who turned lunatic and got loose from the asylum. It’s just funny why the boy still seemed to be killed just yesterday when in fact he was killed a week ago, on your birthday.” After hearing that, I nearly fainted when I remembered on my birthday the boy was actually there where he was accompanied by my uncle who was reported to have killed himself after he killed the boy, on the same day, at the same time of my party.

A Movement for Eliminating Violence Against Children

Change your facebook profile picture to a cartoon from your childhood and invite your friends to do the same. Until Monday (December 6), there should be no human faces on facebook, but a stash of memories. This is for eliminating violence against children.

This was the status that I saw the moment I logged on Facebook last night. I was excited to relive some of the best cartoons during childhood, most of which belong to the Notable Animes in the 90s.

It is a happy yet nostalgic experience to remember the cartoon series we all used to watch when we were little. If you haven't changed your profile pic yet, do so now, it's only Wednesday.. do it for the children. ;)

My Blog Revamped!

After going through a number of layout change and months of stagnation, I decided to reboot this blog. There's not much to see here as of the moment as I only take the time to edit stuff during my free time.

Sad to say I had to trash my supposedly new blog because blogger has more free features. What I have to pay at wordpress I can get for free at blogger. And I hope it stays that way! Haha.

Some of the features aren't working yet and `will update in time. ;)

Had nothing to post so I just uploaded this. Haha!
Been really busy with work lately that I don't get to do my hobby - drawing. I have this sketch that I had with me for years and I still haven't finished it yet. I always plan to complete it every Sunday but I only find myself sleeping all day. :D

Where is ZX Lotus Now?

One month has passed since ZX Online PH was shut down. Weeks before that, many of us were already thinking what game to transfer to. When ZX closing was announced, our master Chris told us to try out the new game about to be released by PWI. Initially, several clanmates downloaded the game client and tried it out. But I was among the ones who stayed with ZX til the last minute. I was not ready yet to try a new game. It would seem like having an instant new boyfriend after you just broke up with your ex. ;p

Anyways, I downloaded Heroes of Three Kingdoms after a few days. I tried it out and at the beginning found it boring because there was no talisman feature! So I went back to playing ZX even though I was the only person online in our clan. When there was no choice left, I went back to HOTK.

Luckily, my former clanmates were eager to teach me every step of the way namely master Chris, Richard, Lenin, Johnver, Jule, Mots and Aldrin. I began to love the game. There were lotus too who were there but did not last and moved to Jade Dynasty instead. Very few were left but we were joined by new recruits coming from different parts of the world - mostly Pinoys too.

I know that the original members of ZX Online Lotus Clan were divided between HOTK and JD. But the people I come to know more are in HOTK. And I hope some of those in JD would transfer too BUT that may just be wishful thinking. There are some things in HOTK that seem too hard for someone who got used to the friendlier features in ZX.

With my ForeplaY family, all of them returned to RF Online - my real life buddies that is. I can never really miss them as I see them almost everyday in our tambayan cafe. XD But the name "Foreplay" has been carried on to HOTK with Aldrin as the head. ;)

We may not be together, but you will always be in my heart.

Goodbye ZX.. and Lotus..

Merely eight hours ago I was happily doing Battleground with some of my clanmates until a world chat hit me hard in the face. It said that ZX was closing down in five days. Naturally, my reaction would be "just another rumor". But the player confidently said to read the forums for the official announcement. I quickly visited the forums both frightened and worried about what I was going to see there.

When I saw the latest post to be coming from a CM, I felt a quick stab in the heart. I read the thread over and over again to absorb if what I was seeing was real. "We are closing ZX Online within 5 days".. This took me a few minutes to fully understand those words.. I know this was going to happen, but its sudden announcement was what I could not believe.

Closing ZX. At the sight of these very words, I felt close to tears. It wasn't because of the money, time and effort I spent in game. Neither what I was going to leave behind. But WHO.

My gaming experience in ZX Online will never be comparable to the other games I played for one huge reason, The Lotus Clan.

A lot of people in our clan became my friends for more than a year. There are some whom I've known since we were lowbies in the game. But there are clanmates too who were new but I was able to mingle with them for some time. Sadly, we may not be able to find a game that will have us all in the clan play together.

I'll miss the game, but I'll miss the players even more.

Thank you Lotus for everything. Words are not enough to express how much I grieve for its loss...

I will be making some videos about ZX and Lotus..

Guys' Rulebook

I recently joined a group in Facebook named as OFFICIAL GUY'S RULEBOOK - [Women...take note please] and I found it to be somewhat funny and at the same time very true. All the time we might complain that we can't understand men. This may help you better understand them and prevent fights in the future.. (I suppose!) :P

It's about time us guys got together to make a stance...Finally, the guys' side of the story. We always hear "the rules" from the female side. Now here are the rules from the male side. Women...These are our rules!..ADHERE TO THEM!!

[Please note...these are all numbered "1" ON PURPOSE!]

1. Men are NOT mind readers.

1. "Yes" and "No" are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.

1. If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don't ask us

1. Whenever possible, please say whatever you have to say during commercials.

1. You can either ask us to do something or tell us how you want it done. Not both. If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.

1. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one:
Subtle hints do not work!
Strong hints do not work!
Obvious hints do not work!
Just say it woman!!!

1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down.

1. Shopping is NOT a sport. And no, we are never going to think of it that way.

1. Crying is blackmail.

1. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That's what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.

1. A headache that lasts for 17 months is a problem. See a doctor baby.

1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become null and void after 7 Days.

1. If something we said can be interpreted two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one.

1. ALL men see in only 16 colours, like Windows default settings. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not a colour. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea what mauve is.

1. If it itches, it WILL be scratched. We do that.

1. If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing," we will act like nothing's wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.

1. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, expect an answer you don't want to hear.

1. When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine...honest baby.

1. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as footy, cars, or the female nipple.

1. You have enough clothes.

1. You have too many shoes.

1. I am in shape......”Round” IS a shape!!

1. Thank you for reading this. (Yes hunny, I know...I have to sleep on the couch tonight)

...But did you know men really don't actually mind that? It's like camping.

Dudes/Dudettes...Invite as many women out there to join this group to potentially save a lot of relationships! It’s all about understanding us blokes....

Spread the word......

True aren't they? :P
